Make mine a T6 with a 285 horsepower straight six, please. Volvo's introduced a peppy new power plant option for its flagship S80 sedan range.
And like PAG stablemate Jaguar, Volvo promises to produce power that's both mean and green.
"The engine has been programmed to provide the highest possible performance with the lowest possible fuel consumption and exhaust emissions," said Hans Wikman, one of Volvo's Veeps (and peeps).
The T6 engine was originally only available on the V70 which means that Volvo's sharing the power wealth 'mongst its models. Excellent choice, though it may take more to soothe the pain of those who mourn the missing the R line.
