Ah yes the early 90s in Great Britain. These were MG Rover's days of stiff-upper-lipped confidence despite the tide of foreign competition washing away their beach of support on their own home turf.
I refer to, of course, BMW's former subsidiary that collapsed not long after Munich withdrew its support in 2000. Now reborn under the Nanjing Automotive group, this (well done) UK commercial is a stern warning for automakers retrenching into a monopolisitic thinking.
