When the Honda Element first premiered, the active-lifestyled SUV had its share of detractors. Yours wasn't among them, mind you. I personally liked the original Rubbermaid siding. But the refit was even better and received wider acceptance – the first Element was down their on the opinion charts with the Pontiac aztec (gives me the chills).

Coming to think of it, this hilarious TV advert may have helped the opinion polls as well. I pinch.

    There’s a sequel with a lobster and the crab who’s now jealous because the lobster is conversing with the element.
