Warning the above (1:01) clip is easily the worst automobile, scratch that, the worst televised commercial I've ever seen in my existence and you may just end up stupid after having seen it.
In this minute long advert filmed in the 1970s, we watch a lifeless exchange between two truck drivers whose cargo loads are supposed to symbolize the churn'em out and throw 'em away society. And then there's the rust-red Volvo that enters the fray. "Beat the system - buy a Volvo," says the voice caption.
Beat the system? And while they're at it, beat the producers, directors, PR staff @ Volvo for ever letting this crap come to pass.
