To Monaco in the New Bentley Convertible

It's been my pleasure to attend the Monaco Grand Prix on a couple of occasions, the last time as a guest of a millionaire who loaned me a ferrari for a week. I could happily have enjoyed that lifestyle on a permanent basis but alas, it was not to be. Since then I've had a fantasy about motoring from London to Monaco in a Bentley Convertible with an elegant lady by my side. Just in time for this year's race, Bentley has launched the Continental GTC, which Bentley CEO Dr Franz-Josef Paefgen claims is the world's fastest convertible. It features a twin-turbocharged, 6.0-liter W-12 engine and a six-speed ZF automatic transmission delivering the power to all four wheels. Top speed is 195 mph, or 190 with the roof down. Rather than ruffle milady's hair, I might take it a little slower.
