Morgan is one of those crazy, antiquated, and terribly specialized small British carmakers that somehow maintain a dedicated domestic fan base back home in Albion. For years it was rumored that Morgans were built on wooden frames and up until the late 90s that bit was probably true.
Well, the future is nigh and so is the need for alternative means of powering the motorcar. So, not to be left behind in the oil soaked 20th Century, Morgan has teamed up with Oxford University and a British Defense firm to build a £1.9 million ($3.75 million) concept fuel cell car that will premiere at next year's Geneva Auto Show.
The concept model will maintain all the high strung performance aspects of a regular Morgan while being able to attain a 200 mile range under battery power.
In sum, a noble effort from a crazy carmaker.
