Test Drive: Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart
Being a reasonably modest person I sometimes forget to blow my own horn. Or in this case the horn of a great little car I recently tested for About Cars. So let me correct that error and direct you to this review of the Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart.
Forget, if you will, all that hype about the Lancer-derived EVO. The Ralliart's a ton of fun and much more affordable. From the moment I climbed into its snug-fitting bucket seat I fell in love with this compact 4-door. Forget, too, that the styling is so old it belongs in a museum, for that same shape offers up a roomy interior and excellent sightlines.
Driving away from Mitsubishi's Vancouver lot woke me up in a hurry, though, when this baby unloaded its 167 eager horses and close-ratio 5-speed box, instantly transforming me from senior citizen to boy racer. Who says there isn't a fountain of youth?
