Audi's iconic TT has won the title "Germany's Most Popular Car." The quad-ringed two seater which comes in hardtop coupé and Roadster guises was picked among 59 other contenders that included models from rivals BMW and Mercedes-Benz.
The competition was launched in 2006 where 100 German newspapers asked their readers to vote for their favorite car. 100,000 responses later, Audi was able to declare victory. This most recent award accompanies the "Yellow Angel" accolodate the TT won from German car mag Motorwelt.

Isn't the new TT supposed to be even more substantive than the Golf-based original?
