Il mio italiano è un po'arrugginito but thanks to the (rough) magic of Google translation services I've been able to decipher the Italian AutoBlog's recent article to report Subaru's li'l R1e - such a cute thing - has received special commendation from the various environmental powers that be in the Japanese government.
Just in case you missed the big news about the R1e - I did - Subaru introduced this cuter-than-your-MINI all electric go-mobile two years ago. Apparently the car can battery power its way at a little better than 60 mph for 50 miles. Certainly a feat most of the world's eco-minded would find praiseworthy. It does, though, make GM's plans for the Chevy Volt seem half charged.
And no, the R1e is not made out of marshmallow - I know how you think...
