Lincoln Clock

Prepare to spring forward one hour at 2 AM on Sunday, April 2 – the last time North America will begin Daylight Saving Time in April. Coffee in hand, you will dash around the house, updating the VCR, microwave, stove, clock radio… and any gizmo not connected to the Net. You'll accomplish this quickly and accurately. Congratulations! Ah, but then there's the car clock. Why do automakers, who can program computers to operate an automatic transmission better than you or I could ever hope, fail badly when it comes to resetting the clock in your car or truck? You know what I mean: we've had to resort to the manual for help. Ford claims to recognise the problem and intends that all future products will make the task simple. "The technologies featured in the new Lincoln Zephyr are designed with luxury and simplicity in mind – like the advanced DVD-based navigation system, keyless entry keypad and classic analog clock" says Lincoln Brand Manager Tom Grill. Too bad he can't reprogram our heads.
