Spied > Mercedes-Benz CLS Refit

Never was a fan of the "emotionalized" styling of Mercedes-Benz's original CLS four-door coupé that premiered back in 2004. As it was, the Benz seemed to draw much of its design inspiration from the late 90s Mercury sable – a car that found little appreciation as a gussied-up Taurus in its day.
But a refit is underway. In spy shots, the coupé's tail is heavily disguised and its clear the refit sports a new grille. Much of the rest of the strangely proportioned car (which sits atop the E-Class platform) remains as it was.
Ho hum.
