UK automotive monthly Autocar has published fresh pictures of what appears to be Mercedes-Benz's next C-Class hatchback. The heavily disguised coupé was caught on camera midst severe weather testing in the northerly reaches of the arctic circle.

What's clear is that the new Benz features the same headlights and grille treatment as the sport variant of the new C-Class sedan.

What's not clear is when Stuttgart plans on showcasing its next entry-level luxury three-door. That said, the upcoming Frankfurt Auto Show is a good possibility.
