Scarce Volvo
Talk about limited! Volvo announced that they will be producing only 400 limited edition C30 R-Design models for the US market, which amounts to a little over one per dealership. Exterior enhancements include a sport body kit, tailgate spoiler and large diameter exhaust tips.
The interior includes a special leather-wrapped steering with aluminum inlays as well as sport pedals and a sport shifter.
The car is powered by the same T5 turbocharged 5-cylinder engine, which produces 227bhp, found in regular C30 models and also sports 18 inch wheels. The C30 is definitely an interestingly – styled car, which adds to its youth appeal and this new package adds some excitement to the line-up of this small car in the US market.
The C30 R-Design will be officially launched in the second quarter of 2008 and pricing will be announced closer to that date.
