Roadtrip: No Gas!

Last year, while I was still producing About.com's Classic Car site, I wrote a story about Daryl Hannah's biodiesel- powered 1983 El Camino. The environmentally- conscious actress runs her vintage machine on ethanol-thinned vegetable oil, getting up to 40 mpg in the city. Hannah will be one of the stars in a 13-part TV series premiering Tuesday, April 18 on cable network's OLN at 8 PM EDT. "Coolfuel: Roadtrip" follows Australian Shaun Murphy (and his Jack Russell terrier, Sparky), as they travel through 30 states in 30 unique vehicles. All run solely on Alternative fuels.
