Chevrolet

Once again, the Chevy volt concept, not scheduled to hit showroom floors until 2010 is in the news. I'm a sucker and keep on writing about problem laden electricmobile.
First piece of news is that problems designing accessories like windshield wipers and an audio system that won't drain the Volt's batteries have forced its engineers to design expensive "redundant systems" that are driving up costs. It appears the original suggested price of 30 smackers has just increased by $5,000.
Second piece of news is an icky commercial that advertising empty suits obviously thought was cute. Watch it, you be the judge. It was on the Cartoon Network. Scare kids before they go to bed will you.
