Your very own Batmobile! By [the] Marx [brothers]! Some of these classic commercials are actually scary. They're a kind of time capsule insight into the marketing hysteria of yesteryear that give us the most warped possible perspective of the American public. Then again, if one were to be in the fifties, say, and look into the future to today's advertising – the future would be powerful frightening – and maybe just alluring at the same time.
