Porsche 911 & Cayenne Drive Overall Sales Higher…But Somebody Forgot To Release The E-Brake On Boxster Sales

Ah if only Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche were alive today. I'd wonder what The Master designer would make of the Cayenne SUV or the 911 that has kept the faith alive all these years by keeping the [winning] formula more or less the same.
These two models are carrying the Porsche name to sales glory again this year – 3,018 Porsches were delivered to customers this past October up from last year's 2,487 Porsches. Most of these were Cayennes and 911s.
I wonder if Dr. Porsche's perfecting eye might then wince at the sight of Boxsters not selling. Boxster sales slid by 16% and of the 738 sold last month; more than half were the new Caymans.
Not to worry, herr doktor, the Boxster's replacement is on its way.
