Pomona, here I come!

It's the first weekend of the new month - that means it's time for me to saddle up and head out to Pomona for the Pomona Swap Meet and Car Show.

Pomona is about 40 miles East of Los Angeles on Interstate 10. On the first Sunday of every month an enormous swap meet is held on the grounds of the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds. In addition to the usual car parts, memorabilia and crap that you find at a car swap meet, the parking lot is a virtual concourse of Pre-1975 collector cars -- and all of them are for sale. There are some great deals, for sure, but it's also a great place to gawk at the cars and the people who are selling them.
