It's a very simple reality tv concept that really shouldn't work at all, but it does. Two guys meet at a drag strip and race for pink slips -- title/ownership documents to their vehicles, which used to be printed on the pink duplicate copy of DMV forms (they may still be pink in some states, but computerization has rendered duplicate forms moot in many cases).
The host of the show, Rich Christensen, is an assertive macho guy with a shaved head. Christensen acts as the mediator between the two guys or their negotiators, and sets the terms of the race -- best of 3, or best of 5, pump gas or nitrous, choice of lanes, car lengths head start, etc. The show is much more about the negotiation than it is about the actual race. People reveal a lot about their character, their sense of fair play and their moral compass when they are faced with actual competition with something real -- their vehicles -- on the line. Great stuff, and some really good car porn for performance car fans.
Speed Channel is so goofy about scheduling that I have no idea what Pinks' regular air time is -- let your Tivo find it for you.

I am not so sure these tv shows should be exposed for children, they have other perception on reality and can learn that racing is very cool. This a consequence that must be controlled by the parents.I like to watch too but i never tried it at home.

Hey shot out to the host on Pinks. My name is Eddie from NH.I watch Pinks everyday and its one of my favorites.Pinks is a good show but Name That Test tune isent good at all.Im trying to make a statement about those new shows you guys are airing.I tried to find Speeds email adress and this seems to be the only way.Anyway i have a strong comment on Name That Test Tune.I dont like it at all, actually i think people probibly think its boaring, well i do and i love racing.I did not like at the end of the show where the guy that got the most times right gets all the money at the end of the show. The other two contestants earned that money they got. They got the times the closest so the guy gives them the ca$h that they earned. At the end i heard the host say to the other contestants to give all their money to the guy who got the most right.Thats just messed up,thats greedy.Ok if your gonna do that dont even give anyone any money until the end of the show.Why...because its rude,"ok you just earned $500,here you go",at the end of the show,"oh now you give this guy all your money for winning".Its not right, you dont hand someone money and say "good job" and at the end of the show say"now give all your money to that guy cuz he got better guesses than you".Its greedy and unprofessional to me.You are talking about peoples money here, once someone gives you $,you cant just expect them to give it all up just like that.I mean...not everyone has money so when they get it they are excited, and then you make them give all that $ up.

I Love Pinks "ALL OUT". Pinks SUCKS!! Reason being: How in the world does a guy lose his car to a slower car if your not taking into account the benefit of computer accuracy? Pinks is nothing more than Bracket Racing based on BS'ing, Sandbagging, and Straight up LYING. Lose your car to heads up racing like back in the day is one thing. Willy Mammoth Episode where it lost to a slower Mustang. The stole the Willy Mammoth. They didn't earn it!

"Pinks" All out is way better than regular pinks. You keep your ride,
win some money, and have a good time
in doing so. Not lose your ride to a slower one because they get lucky.
Straight out heads up is racing, that
way even the little guy has a shot.
Not the one who BS's their way to the win. I mean c'mon.
