If you came looking for me this morning, you'da found me scraping ice off my car because I had to move it for "alternative side of the street parking." Ah, NYC street cleaning rules. Anyway, I'm scraping ice thinking, "I've had funner times." Oh, I know funner isn't a word, but it was 24 degrees and I hadn't had any coffee, so funner was the best I could come up with. So, after I come back home, I wonder what a parking spot costs and whether I should even keep the car. I walk past a Garage near me... over $300. A month. And, no kidding, it's a 15-minute walk from my apartment. I need a ride to my parking spot! I didn't take the $300+ spot (it wasn't offered either as the man saw my expression). So, since I'm keeping the car (I don't know why, either), the best I can do is make sure my anti-freeze is right, my battery is decent and my scraper is handy. Any of you paying a lot to park your car?

It is indeed a dangerous issue. With more and more automotives are pruduced day and day and less land exsists, the parking issue will be a severe problem.
