It happens. And in the Winter months, it happens to hapless and even cognizant drivers alike probably with more frequency than during any other time of the year. We should all on some level empathize with our fellow road-goers.
Then again, sometimes the mistakes of others are just too funny. What's the line? One man's tragedy is another's comedy? FYI: It's generally never, ever a wise move to try and tow a car by its trim - especially when its lodged in a snow bank.

This is Darwinian survival of the fittest. Or perhaps modified to survival of the smartest. Plastic is *never* a good anchor point.

If it was Darwinian survival per se, it would have been at this scenario would have taken the place at the edge of some cliff. Luckily for them, it wasn't.
