A blue-on-red, open two-seater 1905 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost replete with brass fittings sold at Bonhams car auction for £3,500,000 ($7,300,000), the BBC reported.
The well maintained Silver Ghost set two world records:
1) Oldest Rolls-Royce ever sold.
2) Most ever paid for a pre-1905 car (103 years old!)
According to the auctioneer, the Silver Ghost is in near-perfect shape, has the records from all three previous owners and said that"The purchaser could get in and drive it away."
