Nissan is readying to launch its own five door hatchback to battle the likes of the Mazda 3. The Nissan ride is designed to be affordable, starting at a mere $12,000 to be exact. The car will be no fast & furious racer with a mild 1.8l 4-cylinder engine pumping out 122bhp and 127 lb-ft of torque. fuel economy was obviously a focus for Nissan with the Versa, it gets an excellent 30 mpg in the city and 36 mpg on the highway.
