This year, the successor to the (E46) BMW M3 is going to be more powerful and more expensive than ever before according to Automotive News.
Duh.
What did they honestly expect - less? In each of the three M3 generations: E30 (1986-1992), E36 (1993-1999), E46 (2000-present), each subsequent car has been more powerful, pricier, and physically larger than the predecessor. In the first M3's case, it was larger and more potent than the old 2002.
So this time 'round, expect the same trend. auto news suggests that the hyper-tuned 3-Series will possess a 400 horsepower V8 fitted with the widely despised sequential manual gearbox (as in the M5) instead of a straightfoward, aficionado pleasing manual.
