New York Auto Show > Less

About this time last year, your humble publisher made his Pilgrimage to the Jacob K. Javits Center on Manhattan's western banks to take in the visual and (sometimes) tactile delights of the New York International Auto Show.
This year, however, there was less. Certainly not less in terms of traffic volume. People traffic appeared to easily match last year's figures – if not succeeded. It was what was showcased that seemed less interesting.
There were fewer new concepts and the ones that you'd have loved to see again – the Saab Aero X or the Jaguar C-XF – were very absent.
Meanwhile all the usual suspects in the German camp were up to their same horsepower-injected tricks – especially Mercedes-Benz. That said, the new C-Classes were on view – just DON'T TOUCH! Go ahead and feel free to clamber over that S550, though.
