New for 2006: Top 10 Fuel-Efficient Cars

Aaron Gold, About.com's Guide to new cars, has updated his popular ranking of Top 10 Fuel-Efficient Cars. Unlike similar Top 10's, the list includes vehicles that are actually a pleasure to drive, rather than simply offering the best fuel-consumption figures. It is based on reviews by the About Cars 5-person test team, of which I'm a member, so perhaps it is not surprising that when Aaron's describes the Hyundai Accent as "still my favorite set of cheap wheels" I'm in complete agreement.
