Tata, the King of the $2,500 automobile seems to have raised the ire of Nissan Renault and now also seems destined to become a "toymaker."
Nissan Renault in their attempt to overthrow the King of the people, will be joining forces with Bajaj Auto in India to challenge the Tata Nano. Nissan feels they can come in with an equally cheap auto in the next 2-3 years.
Nissan wants to make a footprint in the ever growing middle class car segment in India. It seems to get a hold of the Indian Psyche one must start the process by creating at least one cheesemobile.
