Motor Trend’s Virtual Road Tests

I have been a big fan of road tests for years, actually dating back before I could even drive. One thing that I always wished was that I could actually see more than just images from the tests and charts of data the test generate. motor Trend is making efforts to get readers into the action of the road tests they perform with Virtual Road Tests.
Basically, they are taking their performance data, in this case the BMW Z4 M Coupe vs. Porsche Cayman S, and making a PC based interactive environments that allows you to virtually be there during testing. The footage that results is sort of like a cross between a PC game and a video review. Not as cool as full video coverage of the testing, but pretty cool stuff none the less.
