Mitsubishi has high hopes for a trio of new models on display at the Chicago Auto show. They unveiled their 2009 Eclipse and Spyder during yesterday's media day. The 2009 Galant, already in some dealer showrooms, also is on display.
All three vehicles, along with the Endeavor, are produced at Mitsubishi Motors North American plant in Normal., Illinois. The Eclipse and Spyder will be released in the spring, while an updated Endeavor is expected in dealerships this fall.
The new design for the Eclipse and its convertible counterpart, the Spyder, focuses on the front and rear features. The front end sits lower, which allows the car to run smoother. The 18-inch alloy wheels are the same size as its predecessor but have a new, lighter design that improves the car's handling.

The front end looks so much like a Nissan GT-R.
