By solo, of course, Mercedes-Benz cars will be sold under the Daimler-Benz umbrella which includes Mercedes-Benz trucks, Maybach Manufactur, and SMART.
Just no more acquisitions, according to a post from MotorAuthority which site comments from the mustachioed engineer that wasn't the darling of all those Chrysler commercials - Dieter Zetsche (Dr. Z).
"[T]here are no acquisition targets I can recognize that could strengthen Mercedes," says Dr. Z.
Ah, well, now the bitterness of divorce takes its icy hold on two companies that really never should have merged into one. And that means for MB, the tri-star will might just have to revert to doing what it did best - engineer and create the best cars in the world.
