Surely, no local Benz dealer is really equipped to handle these concerns properly. Most technicians are just used to plugging the car into the diagnostic computer to have the machine tell them what's wrong.

So assuming that you have these classics and haven't bothered hiring your own mechanic, where does one go for reliable service? Straight to the Classic Center.

This might sound too much like a commercial for some, but it's MBUSA's honest to God commitment to more than a Century of fine automobiles and is a particularly poignant bit of customer care in a time when most people just lease and throw away.
The Center will either find the part to your ancient model or manufacture it and in any event warranty it for 12 months after fitting. They also do part-by-part restorations (which co$t$) or partial restorations and buy and sell classic Benzes.
