Mercedes-Benz Classic Center

Does your '38 540K roadster need its brakes changed? Or how about the fluid that you think is ATF leaking beneath your '65 220SE cabriolet? And what to do about the Anti-Lock Brake light that's zapping your retina from the instrument cluster of your '79 450SEL 6.9? Surely, no local Benz dealer is really equipped to handle these concerns properly. Most technicians are just used to plugging the car into the diagnostic computer to have the machine tell them what's wrong.

Can't plug in your old 540K.

So assuming that you have these classics and haven't bothered hiring your own mechanic, where does one go for reliable service? Straight to the Classic Center.

In the southern Extremities of the enormous metropolis that is greater Los Angeles; squeezed between Mission Viejo, Costa Mesa, and Newport Beach sits the only Mercedes-Benz Classic Center in America and the second in the world outside Germany.

This might sound too much like a commercial for some, but it's MBUSA's honest to God commitment to more than a Century of fine automobiles and is a particularly poignant bit of customer care in a time when most people just lease and throw away.

The Center will either find the part to your ancient model or manufacture it and in any event warranty it for 12 months after fitting. They also do part-by-part restorations (which co$t$) or partial restorations and buy and sell classic Benzes.

Any devotee of the marque should check it out.
