Mazda’s Miraculous Space Machine

During the winter of 2004-2005 I gathered courage and made a return visit to the city of my birth and upbringing: Toronto. It's a lovely town, being located on the sandy shores of Lake Ontario, but it's hellishly hot and humid in summer and miserably cold and slushy in winter.
I return often because my family lives there and in a moment of weakness I wanted to see the Toronto International Auto Show. Tucked into a corner of the Mazda display was a "Multi-Activity Vehicle" of the kind that European families have embraced for their versatility combined with compact dimensions and handling. Mazda's Canadian PR director, Greg Young, merely smiled when I said "Greg… bring the Mazda 5 to North America!"
Well, it's here now, and theCarConnection's Gary Witzenberg seems to agree with my sentiments in his test drive, though he wishes it had more power when fully laden with people and goods.
Hey Greg, why do we Internet journalists, we with the really big viewing numbers, have to beg for press cars when the print guys get priority? I'm itching to test the very vehicle I once recommended to you.

Nice car but does not really look new. It kind of resembles the old model. What are its features?
