Mazda Motors zoom-zoomed away with two awards from Japan's prestigious Automotive Researchers' and Journalists' Conference (RJC). The mazda2 (known as "Demio" in the land of the rising sun) and Mazda CX-7 crossover won awards for best compact car and best SUV, respectively.
"We appreciate these accolades as a validation of where we are going with our products. Looking ahead, we will continue to strive to make cars infused with the Mazda spirit," said Mazda Chairman and CEO Hisakazu Imaki.
These awards seem to confirm the soul that many see Mazda infusing in its contemporary lineup.
