Maserati has at last released pictures of its new GranTurismo Coupé in advance of the model's summer launch. The succeeding two-door to the current decade old (but still sweet) GT has received quick praise from much of the blogosphere.
For many, speculation ran high as to what form the new 2+2 GT would take.
Visibly longer than its predecessor, the new GT's profile is drama-on-sheetmetal. Thanks to wildly scooped wheel arches and a hunkered down, F1 style nose, Maserati's new car embraces surface tension. Some might find the strangely shaped headlights and the complicated front air dam layout similar to the Lexus IS sedan.
