Luxury on a Dime

I am seeing more new small but premium SUV's hitting the market then ever before.
Models such as the Land Rover LR2, Infiniti EX35, and BMW X3 are becoming and important niche category. While automakers concentrate on more powerful engines for this segment, they are now also setting their sights on more plush interiors and state of the art electronic packages.
Although this segment accounts for only under a half percent of all US vehicle sales and even though adding luxury touches is problematic due to space constants, look for this small premium SUV market to stay competitive among automakers and exhibit steady growth.
