The Car Connection reports: Lexus Prevails for 48-Year Ford Dealer. Talk about the buck stop here: A ford dealer boots Ford for Lexus! It's almost hard to believe that "start-up" Lexus could topple veteran Ford, but sales are way down for this Ford dealership and for Lexus, well, everyone knows how well they are doing. The one thing that popped out at me was this dealer, Peter Griffin, was "treasurer and a co-founder of the 1700-member Ford Dealers Alliance." This dude was a serious Ford man. This has to send a poor message to those 1700… uh, 1699 other dealers. On the bright side, it sends a good message to Lexus.
