The popular, but now very much former CEO Tom LaSorda told the press that he's fine with being No. 2 at "The New Chrysler."
"It's about Chrysler winning. I'm gonna put myself second. Leave the egos at the door and let's go turn around this company," LaSorda said.
The new chief executive, Robert Nardelli of Home Depot fame was at pains to pronounce his liking of Chrysler's former boss under the Daimler era.
"For his part, Nardelli praised LaSorda and said he has no immediate plans to alter Chrysler's much-touted recovery and transformation plan, announced in February," the detroit news reported.
So, President and Vice Chairman LaSorda will now keep on keepin' on. Just under a new boss.
