LA Auto Show First Impressions

Just back from the first Media Day for the Greater LA Auto Show.

I'm loaded down with bags of brochures, press releases and information. I'll digest this pile over the next few days, and try to let you know what I've garnered.

First impressions:

Hybrids have gone mainstream. Manufacturers hardly even bother to highlight their hybrids in the lineup anymore.

Isuzu is in deep trouble, if not dead. Their display was pathetic and empty.

Hyundai is trying too hard. Nobody cares about the Hyundai concept car.

The new BMW 6-series sedan is gorgeous — that's a picture of it in blue. Can't wait to drive it.

More later — I've got some reading to do.
