Jeremy Clarkson & The Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano

And so spake Jeremy Clarkson, first lord surveyor of all automotordom from the misty shores of Albion, that the new Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano delivereth an experience both sensational and rubbish.

Mr. Clarkson, known to many car enthusiasts for his Top Gear shenanigans writes weekly for The Sunday Times. In his most recent review of the Ferrari 599, he suggested that we the general public go out and "buy one before they ban them."

This suggestion was immediately followed by a 9 paragraph diatribe on the current and horrendous state of Britain's public roadways - militant, car defacing environmentalists, speed cameras, narrow lanes, and improbably slow Rover drivers. And then a further 8 paragraphs carping about how lousy the latest model Ferrari was put together.

It was only in the last few lines that Mr. Clarkson justified his earlier recommendation by noting, "After just three days the power and the excess that had originally caused me to question this car were now causing me to drool and dribble."

Duly noted, Lord Clarkson. Read on friends, t'is a funny piece.
