Jay Leno’s Tank Car

Wow…a car that's ugly and cool at the same time. Jay Leno has one of the coolest car collections around. The beast pictured here is powered by the engine out of a army tank. This wild ride weighs in at a rotund 9,500 pounds and the V12 is a 1792ci beast. To get more power the engine was fitted with a twin turbo set up to give a downright demonic 1600hp with 3000lb.-ft of torque. No word on the performance numbers, but a look at the tires leads me to wonder if they would burst into flames if you floored it from a standing start from all the wheel spin that's bound to ensue.
