Panda Alessi
If you were to visit my home you'd see two beautiful, very contemporary decorative bowls, one chrome, the other matte black. Both come from the Italian firm of Alessi, which is world famous for its creative furnishing designs. Now Alessi has been tapped by Fiat for a special edition of the Panda, a popular hatchback that does well in European markets. An Autoblog report refers to this as "dual-branding," an old marketing ploy in which two names are combined in a unique product intended to benefit both. The Panda being a purely functional small car, this must have been quite a challenge for Alessi but the effort appears to have been successful, as the photo confirms. Unfortunately the Panda won't fit my living room.
