The Italians are masters of design and nowhere is this more obvious than the annual Milan Furniture Fair. The ideal venue for Fiat, which is back in the black again, to relaunch its legendary Lancia brand. Celebrating its 100-year anniversary, Lancia had its own spectacular display at the Fair and will later take it to to Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, and Venice. Brand manager Olivier François said "there is a lot of inspiration here for future models... a brand needs to go where it can have excellence. We are not about sports. We are style, elegance, culture, fashion." New Lancias will be design-oriented with input from Pininfarina, Bertone, Giugiaro. Shown here: a 1955 Aurelia Gran Turismo 2500 Spider.
