I Think I’m Turning Japanese*
So I'm reading The Car Connection and come across an article about car color. Silver is king? Come on, people! Silver? What's my favorite color? Blue? No. Red? No. Yellow? No. Purple? Well… OK, so I had a truck that was purple (it was technically Iris… man, that truck rocked!) but, no, purple isn't my favorite color. It's white. Pull up in a white BMW, Hoss, and you'll get all the ladies. Or men (not that there's anything wrong with that). Anyway, according to the article, silver is generally the most popular color. Europeans prefer silver, black or gray. Japanese used to prefer white but now silver is taking over. Well, I long for the good old days in Japan when white ruled the land and silver was for the old guys with big wallets. I do miss that purp… iris-colored truck. *Lyrics to Turning Japanese.
