Hyundai NEOS III concept in LA
I'm on a roll now — more from the LA Auto Show:
Hyundai pulled out all the stops this year, showing off their 2007 Santa Fe and the overblown NEOS III concept car. The NEOS III is a four-wheel drive SUV with every possible high tech feature jammed on board. It was styled in Hyundai's Japanese studio, and it looks way Japanese inside and out. Some of the tech details include pre-crash sensors up front, EHF radar for proximity control, infra-red night vision and adaptive front lighting, a heads-up display operated by trackball for the nav system, rear view cameras and an 11" LCD screen at the center of the dash. The vehicle is driven by a 4.6 liter V8 with 4 valves per cylinder and a five-speed automatic.
Pictures don't do this vehicle justice — or injustice, as the case may be. This is a vehicle that is way over-styled and show-offy — showing just how far Hyundai has come in the past few years.
