Honda's U.S. sales figures were up last month and much of the success is credited to the new Accord sedan. Honda sold 111,431 units in November beating the previous November's record by 4.7%.
"Even In these uncertain times, our bread-and-butter products are showing real growth," said Honda America VP Dick Colliver "The all-new Accord continues to set a blistering pace."
Offering more proof that much of motoring America has a love for the pragmatic, Accord sales increased by 25.2% to 28,161 sedans sold last month. Civic sales were also up, increasing by 24.8% to 25,141 units.
Those green-minded Honda buyers opted to take home 3,238 Civic Hybrids - a 46.6% increase!
