Hey, Rob, Here’s Your Scirocco!

The last Scirocco I was in was a… gee, was it an '84? That car is 20 years old? I'm over 20? I'm over 30? Ugh, I'll stop there. Anyway, I always liked that old Scirocco. Everything about it felt totally solid: the doors slammed with a thud, the plastics felt thick and the seats were very fitting (for spirited driving). I've read a little about VW finally bringing the Scirocco back and the more I read, the happier I get. The German Car Blog has specs and spyshots and they are something you're going to want to look at. The new Scirocco will range from 140 horsepower to a whopping, way-beyond-what-the-original 350 horsepower V-6. I hope the folks at VW really focus on what Scirocco was rather than what they've been doing lately: aiming to be more like the Japanese competitors. Hey, VW, if you really listen to what the Scirocco should be, the competition will be aiming to be more like you. *We originally had a different source but they turned out not to be so… well, changed the link. Thanks to those that pointed it out.

I had a Scirocco for ten years and always found it to be the coolest car on the block.
So easy choice my next second car as a Scirocco again (now that I have two cars).
Your “source” Automotive Arena is a rip-off site, taking news from Autoblog, The German Car Blog and others and placing them without providing a soource link.
