Hertz to Rent High-Performance Shelby GT-H
Here's one way to take the boredom out of car rentals. In a flash to the past, the Ford Motor Company, Shelby Automobiles and the Hertz Corporation are partnering to produce a special run of performance-modified Ford Mustang GTs, to be available for rent later this spring. As Auto Extremist reminds us, it's a repeat of the 60's when Hertz, Shelby and Ford did much the same thing with the Mustang GT350H. The new version, a high-performance, special-edition, is to be called Shelby GT-H and will be rentable at select airport locations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Nevada, Oregon and Washington. The graphics package will be similar; black and gold with white stripes. With a production run of only 500 cars, you'd better reserve well in advance.
