Jaguar invented the term "sports sedan" when the British carmaker introduced the MK II to the world. The legendary 60's ancestor of the current S-Type line stood as the answer to the buyer with performance desires and four-door needs.
Arguably one of the prettiest sedans ever built anywhere, the MK II was the perfect marriage of sport and classic British pomp and circumstance. This '60 black on red Californian fitted with an auto gearbox could well be a Jag enthusiast's classic dream come true. The price is market at a potentially reasonable $29K. "Potentially," because the seller doesn't list the mileage or the renovations that may or may not have occurred these past five decades.
But there's a strong hint at a kindly treated past - the seller states that the vehicle has had only two owners in all its years.
See for yourself.
