Hemmings Catch of The Day > Stranded Whale

Quick! Someone call the aspca! A whale has washed up onto the shores of Tarpon Springs, Florida! Oh, I hope there's still time.

Oops. Silly me, it just a '58 Cadillac Sedan de Ville. You must admit, it does look like a whale. I'm still not wholly convinced it doesn't float...

Anyway, let's see...

This Caddy has undergone a complete rubber to roof restoration in 2002. This would go some way in explaining the sedan's cherry condition. That paint job looks like Florida.

Comes with power front seats, windows, and steering (and probably with helms at both ends). Also included is a 310 horsepower V8 engine, but since the car weighs the metric equivalent of the Right Whale, don't expect to keep up with that guy in the 911 after the light.

In sum, a beautiful, chromed, sea going mammal. See more here.
