Greenest of the Green

A few days ago I posted a list of the meanest vehicles for the environment. Leading the hit parade was the VW Touareg.

Today, a kinder, gentler list as I reveal the greenest of the green via results from the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy.

Taking the top podium position for the fifth straight year is the Honda Civic GX natural gas vehicle. For an every day drive the Toyota Prius came in second.

Rounding out the squeaky 10 are the Honda Civic Hybrid, Smart for Two convertible/coupe, Honda Fit, Ford Escape Hybrid, Hyundai Sonata, Subaru Outback Wagon, Nissan Rogue and Toyota Tacoma.
